1. I’m a building contractor and started building ladder stands back in the mid 70s, I haven’t hunted on the ground since that time. I mostly climb now or hunt in a box stand. I feel that my scent is less detectable in the air, say 25′normally. I have even built a deer stand out of two fiberglass shower units.
